Return Policy
 

Thank you for shopping with J Welsby Illustration. Each piece of artwork is created and packaged with great care, and your satisfaction is very important to us.

If something isn’t quite right with your order, we’re here to help.

 

Returns & Exchanges

 

You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to request a return or exchange.

 

To be eligible for a return:

 

• The item must be in its original condition — unused, unframed, and undamaged.
• It must be returned in its original packaging (or equivalent protective packaging) to ensure it arrives safely.
• You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Please note that custom or commissioned artwork and digital downloads are non-returnable and non-refundable.

 

Damaged or Incorrect Items

 

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please email jw_illustration@hotmail.co.uk within 7 days of receiving your package.

Include your order number, a brief description, and photos of the issue.

We’ll arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible at no extra cost to you.
 

Refunds
 

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days.

 

Please note:

 

• Shipping costs are non-refundable (unless the return is due to our error).
• We cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
   

Return Shipping

 

Customers are responsible for paying return shipping costs unless the return is due to damage, defect, or an error on our part.

For your protection, we recommend using a trackable shipping service and keeping your proof of postage.

 

Custom & Commissioned Artwork

 

All custom, personalized, or commissioned pieces are made to order and therefore cannot be returned or refunded, unless they arrive damaged.

We work closely with you throughout the creative process to ensure you’re happy before the artwork is finalized.

We aim to ensure your artwork reaches you quickly and in perfect condition.

 

Processing Times

All orders are processed and dispatched within 2 working days of purchase.

Please note that orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders or a delay for any reason, we will contact you by email to keep you informed.

 

Shipping Rates & Delivery Times

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location and order size.

Once dispatched, orders typically arrive within 2–3 working days.

Delivery times may vary slightly depending on your local postal service.

 

Pre-Orders

If you purchase a pre-order item, it will be shipped after the release date stated in the product description.

If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, the full order will be shipped together once all items are available — unless otherwise arranged.

 

Packaging

All artwork and prints are carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit.

Depending on the product, this may include protective sleeves, backing boards, or mailing tubes.

 

Order Tracking

When your order ships, you’ll receive an email confirmation.

If tracking is available for your delivery, the tracking number and link will be included in your email.

 

International Shipping

At this time, J Welsby Illustration ships primarily within the United Kingdom.
